Founded by Merle Donaldson, Larry Drum, and Aaron Malice in 2006, Verse began as an experimental project with a focus on creative, heavy guitar driven, melodic grooves with dynamic, captivating vocal deliveries. While honing their skills in and around the Bay Area of Florida, Verse seized an opportunity to expand their sound FX, & samples department by adding their longtime friend and studio producer, DJ TREG. After a dozen live performances and a few line-up adjustments, Verse quickly gained the respect and attention of the entire Florida music scene.
